Hiroshi "Iron" Nakamura is an excellent MMA fighter who is making the transition into the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Training out of the Carpe Diem academy in Japan, Iron is passionate about the "gentle art" and competes as often as he can.
In addition to being a brown belt in bjj Iron is also a black belt in Judo! After a successful amateur career Iron made his MMA debut losing a unanimous decision to Yutaka Nishioka in Shooto. He then lost his next fight too. When most people would quit Iron trained harder. In his next fourteen fights he only suffered one loss, gaining the attention of Bellator, where he went 1-1. Iron is passionate about life and will continue to chase his dream. Look for big things to come from him as a student and eventually a teacher!
