Guthierry, from Duque de Caxias, in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, started practicing Jujitsu in 2012 at the age of 13. Although his brother, Diego Bispo, has trained for a long time (Carlson Gracie Black Belt) it was a friend in school that first got him interested in the gentle art. After school his friend invited him to a class and after two months of training he entered his first competition.
With little training Guthierry lost but from that moment on he knew what he wanted to do. He started practicing more each day and getting better. As his passion slowly grew into an obsession, at age 15 he decided that this was what he wanted to do with the rest of his life.
Today all of his hard-work and dedication is starting to show. He eats, sleep and breathes Jujitsu. His dream of course is to become a World Champion and no matter the outcome he will always be a winner just for following his dream!
Welcome to the team Guthierry Barbosa and good luck Panda!
