As 2020 comes to a close we take a look back at the year, evaluate the present, and plan for the future. 2020 started off strong and we were primed to have our best year to date.  In March, as the Jiu-Jitsu world was preparing for pans, the pandemic broke out and shut down the world as we know it. This changed the trajectory of our year, our company, and our lives.

After the initial months when we started to get a better understanding of the virus, competitions slowly started coming back. OSS Athlete Caio Terra, who's academy was forced, made a return to no-gi competition after retiring in 2018. At FTW 141 he came out victorious and it was great to see him on the mat again!

OSS's newest athlete Tylor Shew, flew all over the country, taking first in Oklahoma,  San Jose, and Fresno. Taylor Kettler continued to be a force in the brown belt division. After having a slow start to the season at Pans, he went on to  to capture another No-Gi Pans title and closed out the year winning in Florida! Looking forward to seeing what he does in 2021.

As 2021 starts we are entering a new world. As a company, we are still evolving. We looked forward to the new challenges ahead and no matter what 2021 has in store, we will be ready!
